Bryan Loo founded Loob Holding in 2010 after moving from biotechnology studies and medical sales into entrepreneurship. A visit to Taiwan sharpened his interest in tea culture and the opportunity to build a beverage business for Malaysia. His early commercial experiments had begun much earlier, from renting out his own comics to trading bicycles.
Loob became the business behind Tealive and a portfolio that also includes Bask Bear Coffee, WonderBrew and Sodaxpress. Loo’s path connects scientific training with consumer products: observing an everyday habit, developing a recognisable offer and building a company around it. In July 2023, Loob joined the Endeavor Malaysia entrepreneurship network.
