How Selection Works
A transparent path from nomination to public record, with eligibility checks, evidence verification and independent judging.
Nomination
Self and third-party nominations enter the eligibility workflow.
Eligibility review
Identity, category fit and baseline requirements are checked.
Evidence verification
Material claims connect to documents, public records and credible sources.
Shortlisting
Eligible entries are reviewed against the published criteria.
Independent judging
Assigned judges assess evidence and disclose conflicts before scoring.
Final review
Scores, evidence flags and recusals are reviewed before confirmation.
Honouree announcement
Confirmed records and official citations are published.
Awards ceremony
The annual gala celebrates a result already determined by the process.
Evidence comes first.
Evidence may include company filings, financial records, licences, appointment records, independent reporting and documented customer or community outcomes.
Claims are assessed in context. Scale alone does not determine significance. The quality, consistency and verifiability of the evidence matter.
Independence is a practice.
Judge assignments reflect relevant expertise. Material relationships must be disclosed. A conflicted judge steps away from an entry, and the recusal is retained in the record.
Questions about selection
Can I nominate myself?
The framework accepts self and third-party nominations during the announced nomination window, subject to category-specific eligibility.
Does a nomination guarantee recognition?
No. Nomination is the application stage. Eligibility, evidence verification, judging and final review must all take place before recognition is confirmed.
Can sponsorship influence selection?
No. Sponsorship and other commercial arrangements are separate from judging and award decisions.
When does the next cycle open?
Dates and cycle-specific eligibility will be announced through the official news page before nominations open.
