Christy Ng’s business began with a problem she understood first-hand. Working long restaurant shifts as a teenager showed her how difficult it could be to find comfortable shoes at an affordable price. That experience informed her ambition to create footwear that women could enjoy wearing without stretching their budgets.
The company traces its beginnings to a living-room business in 2012. Ng’s founder account describes starting with RM10,000 in savings and selling shoes from her car boot and at flea markets. The brand opened its first store at 1 Utama in 2016 and extended its range into handbags. Personalisation became part of its offer, alongside the balance of function, appearance and price that had motivated Ng from the outset.
