Jeffrey Cheah’s business career connects the development of Sunway Group with a sustained interest in education. Born in Ipoh and raised in the former mining town of Pusing, he went on to establish institutions including Sunway College, Sunway University and Sunway International School.
His work also extended into healthcare. In 1999, he established Sunway Medical Centre in Sunway City Kuala Lumpur. Through the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation and university partnerships, he supported scholarships, research and academic exchange.
